Blasted through the June edition of The Old House magazine and was underwhelmed by the generality of the content. I recognize urban bkyards are a small segment of the bkyard population but I hoped that some of the ideas/articles would be helpful.
ThisOldHouse.com provided redemption. I found an interesting article on 75 Outdoor Upgrades for under $75. This article supports the mission of the bkyard to create unique outdoor spaces using low-cost/recycled materials.
Highlighted above are a few ideas which are particularly applicable for people with gardens, rooftops, terraces and fire escapes.
